How does the AE Peer Group work?

The AE Peer Group is not a traditional conference, seminar or networking event. Its primary purpose is the collaborative discussion of real business challenges drawn from day-to-day corporate practice.

Participating companies bring their own strategic questions, transformation initiatives and operational challenges to the group. These are discussed from different perspectives, enriched by the experience of the other participants and jointly explored to identify practical solutions.

Each meeting follows a clearly structured and professionally moderated format, combining current industry developments with real-world business cases and confidential peer-to-peer exchange.

The objective is to:
  • make better business decisions,
  • gain new perspectives and practical solution approaches,
  • transfer proven best practices to participants' own organizations,
  • avoid common pitfalls, and
  • take away concrete ideas for implementation within their own companies.
In this way, every AE Peer Group becomes a continuous executive working process that helps organizations address real transformation challenges more effectively and make better decisions for their business.

Structure and Format

The AE Peer Group is designed as a long-term working group.

  • Group size: 8 to 12 companies per group.
This size facilitates in-depth discussions, personal relationships, and an exchange based on trust.
  • Host Principle: The group follows a decentralized hosting model.
The venue is deliberately chosen to provide a setting for professional exchange. However, the decisive factor is not the location itself, but the opportunity to learn from one another and gain insights into the realities of different companies.
  • Meetings: are held at alternating locations:
    › at participating companies
    › at selected partner companies
    › at neutral, external venues
The focus is not on a fixed event location, but rather on the exchange between participants within the specific corporate context.
  • Formats:
    › In-person meetings
    › Online working sessions
    › Moderated roundtables
› Exchange of experiences based on real-world cases
Face-to-face interaction forms the foundation for trust and lasting relationships. Digital formats complement collaboration between meetings.
  • Organization:
    › Duration: 12 months
    › Option to extend
› Collaborative planning of topics and schedule with participants
    › Continuous development of content
  • Perspective:
The AE Peer Group AI HR is part of a long-term Executive Peer System for the exchange of knowledge and experience in the AI-driven transformation of Human Resources, the advancement of people processes, and the shaping of the future of work. Each AE Peer Group deliberately includes only a limited number of selected companies to enable confidential and intensive peer exchange among equals. Depending on demand, additional peer groups may be established with their own composition, company profiles, areas of responsibility, or thematic focus.

AE Life – the exclusive in-person format of AE Peers

The AE Peer Group can be complemented by an exclusive AE Life format. In an exceptional setting, participants step away from their daily business to exchange experiences on the application of Artificial Intelligence in Human Resources, reflect on future developments, and explore new perspectives for recruiting, talent development, and HR processes.
